The mixture of 2 styles of brandy, Fine and Marc, really shines. Grappa style dominates the nose, while a cognac sweetness balances the palate. As I am not currently a grappa fan, it may take some getting used to. The sweetness does make it more approachable. It would be a perfect intro to either of the styles if you are a fan of the other. Robust grape skins, perfume paint (grappa), creamed honey.
