On the nose strong vanilla with slight ethanol. Great arroma. First sip is surprisingly sweet with notes of vanilla, old worn leather, floral, and pecan. For a barrel proof and being over 116 this does not have a severe burn. The burn is as smooth as the juice itself. This could easily be enjoyed neat. Ice cube brings out some of the peppery undertones, softens the burn, and increased the linger and full mouth feel. This one is good all around. No matter how you drink it you will enjoy this one! I recommend it highly!
