This expression is the 12th in a series of the brand's Very Small Batch Straight Bourbon that is fully matured before additional aging in barrels that are placed on a ship that travels through various climate zones. Each voyage is unique. This one began in Savannah, GA in January, 2017, traveled through to the South Pacific, then North Pacific, down the US west coast and ended in Baltimore, MD in May of 2017. It is bottled at 90 proof.

Not getting the hint of salt from the sea. A little more complex than Jefferson small batch but can’t tell if it’s just wood or the sea voyage. Something there and a tad better
Floral/fruity nose, butterscotch & green apple taste. Good, not worth the $$ though. Got the bottle from Terry a while back.
Sweet tea, tobacco, vinegar and a bit of burn. Quite tasty.
