This is the 4th in the Jefferson's Aged At Sea releases, made from straight bourbon that is initially matured in new, charred American oak. The barrels are then strapped to a the deck of a marine science vessel and travel around the world, subject to the effects of the constant motion, differences in weather, and marine air for several additional months at sea. It is bottled at 90 proof.

Not to sharp of a bite to start and dissipates fast. Strong tastes of Tofee, What I taste as orange peel, and finishes with a very strong Creme Brulee note! I haven't met a Bourbon I dont like, and this one sits in high regard. This is a lovely "Experimental" bourbon!
So smooth and not overwhelming. Been wanting a bottle and this glass may do it!
