The nose on this is very unique. I would really love to hear other people’s viewpoint, but I get a real musty and vegetal note…possibly earthy. I own a lot of bottles and nothing in what I own noses like this. Not my favorite notes TBH, but it’s unique so props on that and some folks may enjoy. And that nose transfers right to the palate. All of that earthiness and mustiness just hits you with some medicinal notes on the backend. A bit of spice and a decent finish, but I really struggle to find a lot that I like about this bottle. Maybe you will like, but I doubt I’ll buy another.

A J Hofer 3.3

Nice overall, but does have a lingering astringency that hangs in the nose. Not bad, glad to have tried it

Would be good for an old fashioned or other mixed drink but not worth drinking neat.

Sager Elliott 3.3

A rye with some pepper, bit smoother and easier with water
