About this bottle
This limited edition release is High Wire Distilling's Jimmy Red Straight Bourbon, made from a sweet mash of 100% Jimmy Red corn (a rare variety grown on James Island, SC). It is matured in traditional new, charred oak barrels and finished for 6 months in 225L ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 93 proof.

Very fruity, grape soda and cherries followed by cinnamon and spice. Drinks hot for its 93 proof, but overall a decent pour.
