J.J. Corry 'The Gael' Batch No. 2 Irish Whiskey A balanced, Blended Irish Single Malt Whiskey by Louise McGuane, founder of Chapel Gate Whiskey, made with a quadratic blend of four Irish Whiskeys 5% 26-year-old Single Malt aged in Sherry casks, 27.5% 11-year-old Single Malt, 27.5% 15-year-old Single Malt & 40% 7-year-old single grain. It has an aromatic birth with notes of shortbread biscuits, wax, stone fruits, peaches with cream & heather; while a rich & complex life adds notes of apricot, lemon drizzle cake, honeycomb, fresh rye bread, thyme, heavy cream & milk chocolate; that led to a delicate death of medium length with hints of hazelnut spread, apricot yogurt, mince pie filling & pecan pie.
