The series also pays homage to recipes said to be used by bootlegger J.K. Williams during Prohibition. The whiskey is made from a 95% wheat mash bill, and is bottled at 94 proof.

This is excellent, has characteristic tendencies of a wheated bourbon with brown sugar, caramel and honey notes. This is good enough to stand alone, but drop of water or an ice cube brings out the fantastic sweet profiles. If adventurous—I recommend it for a sumptuous Old Fashioned.
