Nose: Malt extract, toffee, cereal bar, brown sugar. The dry glass aroma is strongly of toffee and nothing else. Profile: Sweet malty arrival with burnt sugar and treacle tart. The rum cask influence is obvious and it definitely adds a sweet caramel toffee note. There is a little cinnamon spice in the later palate. Finish: Medium/Short. Sweet malt, brown sugar. This an average malt, but without any flaws. It’s mild and easy to drink but just a bit run-of-the-mill. There are some stewed tropical fruit flavours but they are subdued and the profile is so dominated by toffee and brown sugar that the result is a bit one dimensional. I’m rating it on the good side of average. Tasted at Jura Distillery, and again from a 30ml sample, April 18th 2025 “Average” : 79/100 (2.75 stars)

Not very whisky-y but quite orangey, sweet and pleasant to drink. Will update if it’s too sickly after a litre of the stuff!
Smooth and gentle on a palate, slightly smoky, weak character but easily enjoyable.
Recht weich. Aber doch eine Schärfe im Abgang.
Some light fruit on end. Just OK.
Gentle, smooth. Everyday.
