Kavalan Solist Madeira Cask

Received a sample of whisky sifu cask pick and it is fantastic. Dark/rich and bright/bold at the same time. Loaded with notes of berries, bubble gum, cherries, honey, raisins, figs, chocolate, and tropical fruit. Flavors match the pink label. Nose: Strawberries, Honey, Bubble Gum, Lavender, Caramel, Melons, Figs, Raspberries, Milk Chocolate, Pineapples, Coconuts, Maple Syrup, Morello Cherries, Apricots, Almonds, Brown Sugar, Guava, Peaches Palate: White Chocolate, Luxardo Cherries, Honey, Prunes, Grapefruit, Roses, Ginger, Lavender, Sultanas, Milk Chocolate, Raisins, Blueberries Finish: Raspberries, Honey, Toffee, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Guava, Sultanas, Figs, Strawberries, Bananas, Treacle

NOSE: Tropical fruits, papaya, delicate spices, burned sugar, dusty, marshmallow. MOUTH: Wow, wonderful texture, powerful cinnamon, caramel, pineapples, plum marmelade. FINAL: Dry, long, fruity ... very good dram but not in my favorite edition. Maybe i had too much expectation.
