It does not represent the actual bottle tasted... FYI --- --- --- $14.99 for a 1.75L is a Price you can't shake Stave at!!! This is a good Robust Whiskey for the price... It does come in a Plastic Bottle but is D-Lish! There is some confusion regarding what it is... SOME Say "Straight Bourbon Whiskey" OTHERS Say "Special Reserve Bourbon Whiskey with Natural Flavors"... I THOUGHT ALL WHISKEYS HAD NATURAL FLAVORS... But I degrees. This is Remarkably Smooth, Remarkably Robust, and Remarkably Good for this price point! As you may have guessed a splash of H2O may enhance Flavors and heighten your experience of Flavors, Taste and Finish. This is a great purchase for an everyday supper! Enjoy with Family, Friends, Neighbors Responsibly. Be Kind, Be Generous, Be Real, Be Responsible!!! CH33RS

Made my wife buy a bottle of cheap bourbon to make bourbon chicken. (She used my Elijah Craig last time!) Kentucky Tavern is what she found. $10 for a big bottle. I figured I might as well try it. It's surprisingly sweet on the nose and has hints of orange and vanilla on the palette. Mild spice and little heat for the finish. Honestly not that bad. Not saying I would drink it on the regular, but I wouldn't shy away from serving it at a party or using it as a mixer. And of course, making bourbon chicken too!

Bourbon Obsessed Lexington 0.3

This pour came complements of Embassy Suites evening reception. This drinks like a mistake - the kind of mistake that leads to more mistakes... Color: light amber in a plastic cocktail cup Nose: sour apple and corn sweetness, imitation vanilla and ethanol Body: light, soft Palate: ethanol, remnants of oak and imitation vanilla, plastic (legitimately unsure if this is the cup itself or the whiskey) Finish: over before it starts This is a purpose built ethanol delivery system that could lead to bad things.

Not bad, for the price, it's a good purchase for a intro or change of pace. It's not 'straight' bourbon, it's a blend. So it's milder, as in not much spice. Vanilla, some chocolate, but not too sweet. Easy to sip straight (neat)

Bananas on the nose. OMG bananas. The palette is sweet, clean, and quick. If you are going to drown it in mixer have at it. Be careful though, mixing too strong can ruin the drink by letting too much of the spirit come through.

Not terrible. But not great. Extremely forgettable. Would only use as a mixer with pop because it doesn’t add any dimensions to a cocktail. It would be good to keep around for a hot toddy when you catch a cold.
