About this bottle
Produced in celebration of the Fèis Ìle 2017 (Islay Festival), this bottling is made from 100% barley which was grown and malted on the island. It is a vatting of two casks: one bourbon barrel filled July 2008 and Oloroso Sherry Butt filled October 2009. Only 877 bottles were produced and will be sold one per customer on June 1st 2017 at the distillery only. This is a cask strength whisky of 58% ABV.

A toffee-nosed drink, in a good way. Goes down easy despite the strength. The peat is front and center, but it's sweet and perfectly integrated. Score it 4.5, for joint second place among my 2017 Feis Ile samples.
