Smells like charred wood and carmelized dark figs, red raisins, and mild sweet black licorice (am I biased by my nordic travels…). A lot of heat overwhelmed the subtle notes before adding water. It’s as good as I hoped and better than I expected.
Pff amazing from Kilchoman! Glazed smoked spare ribs in a glass. Sweet and smoky on the palate, more smoke and sweet fruits on the finish. Great summer dram. The abv is working well, no burn. Really enjoyable during this current heatwave 😎
