About this bottle

Created in honor of the 2018 Fèis Ìle (Islay Fest), this year's bottling is a marriage of cask numbers 34, 65, 82, and 83. The single malt was distilled in March 2007 and filled into ex-bourbon barrels. Aged for 11 years, the whisky is bottled at cask strength of 55.5% ABV. Only 744 bottles created and will be sold at the distillery on the 31st of May, Kilchoman Open Day, during the fest.

Tropical and smoky. A bit better than the 2020 Feis ile Nose: Vanilla, Pepper, Smoke, Iodine, Seashells, Cherries, Peaches, Bubble Gum, Maple Syrup, Grass, Cooked Agave, Bacon, Dark Chocolate, Tosted Marshmallows, Red Apples, Papayas, Passion Fruit, Lavender, Lychees Palate: Vanilla, Bananas, Caramel, Marshmallows, Honey, Grapefruit, Green Peppers, Bacon, Iodine Finish: Vanilla, Marshmallows, Cherries, Peaches, Bacon, Iodine, Salted Caramel, Bananas, Honey, Herbs, Minerals, Seaweed, Lychees
