Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength (2021 Edition)

Nice earthy feel with light floral hints and very sweet iodine vanilla. The water removes the smoke, but the earthiness remains, sweet fruits appear - plums and apricots. On the palate, the smoke is very well balanced, because you can feel the sweet fruits and nice dark chocolate with dried sweet fruits. The finish is long, earthy, dark chocolate and earthy potatoes and apricot fruit powder.

Torf, alko, drewno w aromacie. W smaku dominuje drewno i alko, wędzonka drugoplanowa. Niby tylko 1.3% mocniejsze, a wydaje się bardziej alkoholowe niż batch strength.

A lovely mix of peat and spice and lovely farmy vibez! Well balanced and a great pleasant sweetness that goes through the whole thing.

About as good a value as you will find. The smoke is really well integrated throughout.
