Rich woodsy, smoky caramel malt nose with a whiff of cherry. The palate follows through with some additional peach and orange and baking spiciness. Reminds me of a 6yr malted BiB from Rieger at a much lower price point. Looks like this one has more than doubled in price over the last several years. The Rieger similarity was strong enough, i pulled that one off the shelf for a head to head. Both are quite good with plenty of overlaaping smoke and wood. The King’s County is smoother. The Rieger has more oaky backbone. I’d have a hard time explaining why one was $50 better. Enjoyable but i don’t think i’ll buy it again at this this top shelf asking price. This bottle was 6yrs old, batch 11.

Shares the scotch flavor profile of the single malt, but deeper, richer, more amber, a little closer to the character & mouthfeel of their barrel proof. I favor the barrel proof over it, but the bottled-in-bond is very good, a terrific bridge between bourbon and scotch.
Tastes young but good. Finish is really short and there’s not really much to it. Smells like snickerdoodles and caramel, after a few minutes turns to warming spices and vanilla bread pudding. Still not much to it on taste. Needs to age longer
very sweet Caramel and brown sugar in the nose Also sweet and toasty on the front end that is broken up by a mild oaky smoke tase for a brief moment then sweet caramel with the spice that you would expect from 100 proof.
Batch 11. 6 years old. I'm not a scotch guy, preferring bourbon and rye. This bourbon has some scotch notes resulting from the English malt. Still, very nice as a change of pace.
Full mouth feel with enough heat to make you realize you are drinking a good one. Solid vanilla and oak on the nose with a very round nearly sweet finish. New top five contender.
