Kiyokawa Kensei Blended Japanese Whisky

A complex, Japanese Blended Whisky by the Kensei Distillery in Honshu Kanto, Japan aged up to four years in American oak barrels before it’s bottled. It has a fresh & fruit birth with notes of wood, hints of dried fruits, honey & cut flowers; while a rich life adds notes of smoke, vanilla & toasted spices; that led to a long & bold death with notes of wildflowers, fruit, hints of cherry & caramel. Notas dulces: al principio ciruela y cereza, van mutando a un sabor meloso y anaranjado amargo. Pero definitivamente predomina lo seco que corta con lo dulce. Lo seco ahora frutos secos como la almendra. En boca es franco, con leve picor y amaderado. Final corto en el que predomina la naranja amarga.

Rich and smooth, but more on a sweet side, almost brandy-like.
