Butterscotch candy! But a light Irish taste.
This rare Irish whiskey made at the Old Tullamore Distillery in 1951 before its closure in 1954. This pure pot still--known as "single pot still" today--aged for 36 years in sherry butts before being bottled in 1987. Mark Edwin Andrews bought the Knappogue Castle in 1966 and bought these and other casks like it shortly after.
