Nose of peanut shells, lemon zest and raspberry jam Palate of cream cheese vanilla icing and barrel spice Finish is medium length of cinnamon buns and a touch of nutmeg Rich mouth feel, very enjoyable pour, the additional age of 3 years from the 12 year is noticeable and adds complexity but hard to justify the additional cost

Did a side by side with this and the 12 year. Nose is wonderful with chocolate, caramel, vanilla, oak with some underlying cinnamon. Palate has much of the nose coming through. The finish is my only negative, it is short with an antiseptic feel. Dollar for dollar the 12 takes the win but still a very enjoyable bourbon

Heavy oak and dark chocolate. Remarkably rounded from those years in the barrel. Unfortunately, not much else and quite boring.
