Strong oak flavors. Is it good? Heck yeah. Is it worth the price? I think if you like the flavors here it might be worthwile to take a sip of Dickel 15 year and see if you are okay with the additional mineral/vitamin taste. For about one third of the price Dickel 15 gets really close to the profile of this.

Nose: Strong vanilla extract with a brown sugar syruppy note, strong oak and but of pine Palette: Strong punch of oak followed by a soft vanilla sweetness and buttery mouthfeel Finish: Moderate to long finish of soft sweetness, maybe creme brûlée, and oak
Nose: Nutty and oak Palate: Nutty with cherry, caramel, and a slight floral note Finish: Medium with cherry and vanilla If it had an oily or viscous mouthfeel it would be a grand slam
Nose: Toasted chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and oak. Similar to a tootsie roll. Palate: Oak and caramel. Long finish. Overall: Excellent. Heavy on the oak, well balanced.
Oak, of course. I thought for the price it would knock my socks off. It didnt. Dont get me a rong its a solid bourbon. I prefer the 12 year though.
Charred peanut oil nose. Peanut shells, smoldered, earthy oak, nougat. More coating than the 12yr. Dry, medium heat in finish.
