This is a pretty solid flagship bourbon. It's pretty tasty, kind of like Eagle Rare. No fire, pretty smooth with caramel notes. Not sure why the reviews on here are so low, this is much better than I was expecting from a young distillery in VA. Really a 3.75, giving it a 5 to offset silly low reviews.

A big bourbon bursting with buttery brown sugar with a decent amount of ethanol heat revealing its 59 month age statement. It's got a decent enough body, but doesn't do much of anything particularly remarkable with it. Very middle of the road, but not something I'd turn down a pour of.

Good bourdon. My bottle was aged 4 years (statement on the back label). Nice light amber color. Chocolate, tea, butterscotch. 20% of the mash bill is wheat, which gives it the typical wheated bourbon flavors. (Which I like).

This is a pleasant enough young wheater that would benefit greatly from a couple more years in the barrel. Typical sweetness with a warm, but not too hot finish. Overpriced for a 2 year old bourbon.

dmt260 3.5

Nose: corn, caramel, cherries Palate: sweet corn, caramel Finish: spice, leather, syrup

Brienne 3.5

Kinda sweet, warm, toasted, a little woody. Clean finish, no burn
