⌚: Uncorking. Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Light amber with not much legs, glints of sunshine; 👃: Intense vanilla bean and oaky notes abound, wisps of smoke on the back end, even smells like the Hawaiian air where this whiskey is finished; 👅: Very thin, vanilla bean ice cream, a little smoke, some bing cherries, maybe even a little coconut; 🏁: Not much nuance here, short finish so you can switch up if you need to.

Reminds me A LOT of Mellow Corn... Except it's younger, lower proof, and 4 times more expensive.... Their new make was great though. I wish they would age in full sized barrels for at least 4 years... Currently they are only in 20 liter barrels and less than 2 years old, then blended with sourced corn whiskey. I'm sure they can turn an excellent product considering their new make is great.... They are just not there yet.
On the nose you have turpentine, youngish body even though it’s blended with Kentucky Bourbon. There are hints of banana, plum and oak. I’m hopeful future releases will be solely from whiskey produced at the Hawaii distillery, aged at least 3 years.
Vanilla bean, cream, a touch of clove, maybe a little coconut. As someone else mentioned, it does taste like the island. Not overly complex, has a short finish, but quite nice as a neat pour.
Nose: resembles a lighter, non pleated islay, ethyl, almost a hint of coconut Palate: silky, dry, vanilla, the coconut hint is also in the palate Finish: slight spice, oaky, slight fruitiness
🧘: let it breath for a few minutes 👃: Vanilla, sweetness, and slight banana (?) on the nose 😋: Vanilla, candy/caramel, decent heat/spice and fades relatively quickly.
