Kooper Family 100% Rye is made from two different rye whiskeys. The first is a sourced 4 year-old straight rye "from the South", and the second is made from a 15 month-old "high-rye" "from the North" aged in a series of first and second fill charred oak. Limestone-filtered Texas spring water is added to bring the whiskey to proof. It is unclear just how long the whiskey ages in Texas. Bottled without chill filtration at 40% ABV. NOTE: As of 2016, this whiskey has been discontinued.
