A semi-sweet, herbal liqueur from Switzerland by Claude-Alain Bugnon, that has an aromatic birth with notes of anise & flowers; while a complex life adds notes of fennel, anise, sugar, wormwood, floral, tea, licorice & herbs; that led to a lightly sweet & drying death of medium length. Don’t really care for it the way it is traditionally consumed. Really intense anise flavor. Like licorice on steroids. But, you can’t make a Sazerac without it.

Lighter than other absinthe. The botanicals aren’t as intense. Overall very enjoyable.
