Theres a mote to the nose that im not keen on. Heavy peat and smoke as expected. On the nose i think it’s raisin after reading the tasting notes online. I get a strong sence that i much much prefer the 16 yo. However, not mixed with water as in a pub in York. Overall id give it just a “good” instead of the 5* i gave the 16 yo. 4th drink of day. This review biased from the drinks ive had already. They were very different from a typical scotch. EDIT: Updated to a 4.5. The last few sips were 🥃🥃🥃🥃
