Serious meeting with Japanese customers.. in wine shop.. and we've talked business around 5-10 minutes and the rest? Drunk!! 🎼: Yo-Yo Ma "Japanese Melodies"... my customer opened from his phone!! 😆🎶 Before you read my review, please note that I'm not Whisky guy and don't trust me..😅 🥃: If blind me, I'd tell you it's a water with rancid alcohol.. again, it's a test bottle so I thought it's a storage problem.. but I couldn't drink it..😅
About this bottle
Lambay Malt Irish Whiskey is a blended malt whiskey made with both double and triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskeys. The whiskeys are initially aged in ex-bourbon casks and then are placed into French oak cognac casks to finish its maturation. Included in the blend are Lambay Single Malt casks which were exposed to the sea air on Lambay Island just off the coast of Dublin. It's bottled at 43% ABV without chill-filtration using volcanic water from the island's Trinity Well. Launched fall 2020.

A very malty nose. Small hints of honey, dried fruit, cinnamon. Peppery and nutmeg taste. A lot of nose again and some sharp dried fruits.. Long lingering malty finish. Tones of sweet as wall as rhe spice. Malt dominates all round here.
Incredibly smooth, with just a hint of heat on the tongue but no burn on the way down.
Fruity and light. I enjoyed this one
