I bought a plastic bottle of this for mixing at a pool party, so expectations are low starting out. It smells like grain alcohol with a small trace of cane and a touch of citrus peel. Taste is more like a slightly sweetened harsh vodka than a rum, but there are rum flavors. Though not awful , this is as expected, nothing more than a mixer.

Aromas are primarily rubbing alcohol. There’s hints of spice and vanilla but it takes work to find. Flavors are slightly better. Some sweetness and sugarcane. That vanilla makes another appearance. But it’s all surrounded by rubbing alcohol and heavy heat. Artificial and plastic aftertaste.
It is a pale golden with vanilla on thr nose. It has a fairly muted flavor of mostly vanilla and green apple. There is quite a bit of fusel alcohol.
Not bad with tonic, ginger ale, coke, or other...
