Leatherwood Snake Eater Bourbon Whiskey

An interesting bourbon. From the start of the smell not sure how to describe it other than not all that inviting. The taste is a little strange as well. Again not sure how to describe it. It hangs on your tongue a bit then mellows to a much more pleasant aftertastes. Not one I will likely revisit.

Picked it up from the distillery in Pleasant View. My dad is an ex SF dude and he found this down the road in clarksville and loves it. Good taste, smooth and not too spicy. The distillery is a cool visit too.

On the nose molasses and honey, and somewhat plastic. On the palate front white pepper, buttery body slightly astringent mouthfeel. Young tannin.
