Hart Brothers, founded by Iain & Donald Hart in 1964, are independent bottlers of both blended and single malts. This particular bottling is an 11 year-old expression from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. Ledaig is the distillery's peated single malt brand. Aged in first-fill sherry butts and bottled at cask strength.

Wow, so rich that the smokiness is perfectly balanced. A few drops of water and the juicy sherry character jumps out along with briny smokiness, balanced perfectly for a wonderful dram.
Extreme peat. Spice. Bandaids, spicy hot, caramel and oil on body. Nice mouthfeel. Hint of vanilla. Similar to laphroag. But on backend?
Nose: peaty n smoky n woody Palate: mild and rich Not bad but rare, hard to find
