Limestone Branch Experimental Collection Malted Red Wheat Bourbon Single Barrel

Might have some potential but at 17 months in new charred barrels it is very young, and it tastes that way. Not much complexity. A hint of toffee on the nose. Some sweetness from the corn and wheat. Finishes with a strong alcohol note. It lacks balance. This just tastes too young.

Not a great experiment. So many negatives, I do not know where to begin. Grassy, young, strawlike. My husband thought it was awful and rough.
