This bottling is from a 17 year Loch Lomond cask. The nose is sweet. Reminiscent of cereal milk, ripe banana. The palate, on initial tasting, brings flavours of unsweetened oatmeal and other refined grains. Not very complex in flavours yet what flavours there are linger long. In spite of the 56.2% ABV, it’s a well balanced and easy sipper.
