An intense, 19-year-old, single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Loch Lomond in December 1996 & bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range in May 2016. The outturn from a single refill hogshead was 341 bottles. It has an aromatic birth with notes of sweet citrus, vanilla sugar, blossoms & a hint of fudge; while a rich life adds notes of caramel, aromatic spices & orange peel; that led to a long & balanced death.
