Review #34 - Liqueur #6 Golden colour, it looks very oily in the glass. Nose - Reminds me of the green Chartreuse to some extent...herbal, spicy and sweet, pine, mint, tree bark...maybe some anise, honey...just insanely similar to the Chartreuse. Palate - Very oily and viscous for such a low ABV (38%) and again, soo similar to the Chartreuse...peppery, spicy on the front end, effervescent, but it very soon turn sweet and herbal, coniferous tree sap, pine needles, mint. On the mid palate there is an aroma which is hard to describe...perhaps moist, musty wood or something like that. Finish - short-medium, sweet, honey and some mint. Overall, it is unbelievably extremely similar to the green Chartreuse (albeit not cheaper from what I found online), but again, lacking the intensity in aromas one gets on the 55% french liqueur.
