TLDR; Good potential, but overall an average experience due to harsh alcohol burn. Aroma: By far the best part of the spirit. Very sweet, marshmallow-like. Light scents of wood and floral notes. Taste: Opens with a sweet, lightly floral flavor. Flows into a nice wood and floral flavor in the middle, with some taste of alcohol. Finishes with a harsh alcohol burn, most flavors are lost and the burn continues into the after-taste. It seems to me like the distiller is putting care and effort into selecting ingredients and barrels. Many of the flavors are excellent while available. However, I suspect a large portion of the heads and tails are being included, which gives the spirit a much harsher burn than it deserves.

An elegant Agave Spirit by NOM 1137. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, wood, herbs & spices; while a rich life added notes of caramel & vanilla, that led to a balanced death of medium length with notes of oak, pepper & chocolate. April 2016 / 2017
