Lucky Bastard Rye Whisky

Nose is surprisingly sweet! Deep grain meal and rich rye bread, hint of cream soda and vanilla, dill in the background. Dried apricot and a vaguely floral earthiness. Taste starts with a fairly harsh alcohol hit and heat up first. Heavy rye grain and spice (clove, pepper, ginger, maybe even some anise), bitter and vegetal. Salted peanut skin.
