Brandy de Jerez aged around 15 years in a mixture of Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks. Enticing on the nose with toasted oak, vanilla, figs, raisins, amaretto, caramel and light spices. Rich and sweet, yet not cloying, quite supple on the palate with raisins, wood notes, barrel spices, vanilla, caramel, orange marmalade and hints of milk chocolate. Medium length finish with and nutty, sweet and wee bitter notes. Oh man, this is love at first taste.

Clear, deep mahogany; clean, medium intensity, very aged, fruit cake, coconut, banana boat tanning oil, toasted almonds, spice, allspice, nutmeg; off dry, smooth, full body, medium intensity, raisins, prune, allspice, clove, coffee grounds, chocolate, medium finish, some complexity, very good quality
Aromas are dark ripe fruits such as figs, dates and prunes, overripe fruit, caramel, gamey and spice. Flavors are similar to nose with very good balance between sweet bitter and spice. Sweet is on top but not overdone. Good body and easy finish. Pretty nice stuff.
Absolutely phenomenal brandy de Jerez! Such an enjoyable evening treat.
