Lepanto brandies are all distilled and aged in Jerez (many of them are only aged there). This is distilled using Palomino grapes and are aged in a solera system that formerly held Tio Pepe fino sherry with an average age of 9 years. The brandy is then further aged an additional 3 years in ex-Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.

Typical Jerez style brandy with nice Fino & Oloroso sherry cask influences and a 12yo age statements. The 36% abv for the European market is a little thin and on the low side, it's bottled at 40% abv for the USA market. Dangerously smooth.
Very good. Has aromas of berries and toffee along with baking spices following up on the palate
