About this bottle

Though not unprecedented, it is unusual for a cognac to declare an age statement. Courvoisier was the first of the four major houses to release one which they did along with their 12 Year in the fall of 2010. Courvoisier uses only grapes from the Grande Champagne region for this bottling.

justinproctor 4.5

One of my favorite cognacs; the only one I put above this is the Hennessy No 1 Blenders Edition. That said I haven't tried many pricey cognacs so I'll adjust this as I expand my tastings. In short, this was extremely smooth and the dried fruit notes (raisin, orange) were present throughout. No bite and zero heat. I pair so my fancy spirits with a cigar, but that was a mistake here because it wasn't the best combo. This would go great after a meal when you're ready to relax.

Regneely

Could not find Kelt xo cognac. I got his for my birthday 2015
