This expression is a peated single malt from the Mac-Talla range of Morrison family whiskies. It is an Islay whisky named for the local rock formations that was matured for a minimum 15 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is bottled non chill-filtered and without added color at 46% ABV.

The peat is present on the nose, but the Sherry is very noticeable. Nice gold color. Tasting is surprisingly fresh, light peat, smoke, spice… short and relatively complex. Very nice.
Smoky and sweet on the nose, rich palate with an earth peat, long lasting rich warm and smokey finish
