Heavy raisin and dark fruit most notably a dry plum. These notes unfold into a sweeter cinnamon spice, oak and hints of hay. notes of orange peel can be detected upon addition of a cube of ice. Very solid budget cognac. I would not mind grabbing another bottle when the need for a cognac arises
Nose is alcohol forward with bitter orange. Mouthfeel is thin. Slightly sweet, taste is midly bitter orange, vanilla, and oak. Smooth finish. Nothing to wow about, but not bad either.
Fruity with oak notes. Very good neat or in cocktails. Exceptional value and better than a number of the higher priced Cognacs.
Drinks slightly like a bourbon with smooth oak notes and a slightly sweet finish.
