About this bottle
This experimental release was created to test the best barrel entry proof for Maker's Mark which is typically entered at 110 proof. Four proofs were tested -- 110, 115, 120, and 125 -- with each batch being placed into 25 barrels. All other variables kept the same; all 100 barrels were aged for 8 years on the fourth floor of the warehouse. Just 10 barrels were bottled from each batch with the remaining whisky continuing to age for further experiments. Also, please note that each of the four batches were bottled at four different proofs.
