Maker's Mark Cask Strength Batch 20-05 (108.7 Proof)

Im getting less sweetness than I expected for a makers product. It has a freash scent to it, though, like a herby peppermint or flowery scent to it. This one also doesnt produce the heat that I would expect with the proof point when it first hits the mouth. What I get with the initial palate is a smooth, nutty, banana bread taste and one that is subtly sweet. To me as this fades at the finsih the sweetness disappates a bit and im left with a slight bittery taste. I did enjoy this sip, though and I think it brings a bit more depth than the basic makers option.

Hard to find anything to complain about here. This is great. It’s everything makers mark should be and apparently is. This makes me grin foolishly and I keep giggling and looking in the mirror and saying “Craft mastery right here says I”. If you want a similar joyful experience, find this, buy this and don’t stop drinking this until you are in the same mindset. Then call me and let’s giggle together over the phone. 623-300-6970. Cinnamon and candy caramel apple on the nose. Not very sweet. Soft served vanilla taste with a slight bitter finish. Pleasant oily coating of the mouth. It’s just ok.

Berry smash- T-Bones Concord NH- Peach schnapps, muddled blackberries, mint, lemon, splash of Sprite yumminess

Gingerbread and baked caramel nose with an applepie and caramel taste. Medium vanilla toasted barrel finish.

This puts hair on your chest, fella. Really good stuff. I cursed after each sip. (That’s a good thing….)
