Nose - vanilla - Cinnamon - Feint oak - Just a hint of citrus, orange or mandarin Palate - ripping vanilla, almost like a fresh vanilla bean - As it sits and opens up, the oak becomes a little more present with just a hint of peppercorn and tobacco - Similar to the nose I get just a hint of citrus on the palate. - No spice Finish - Mild finish, especially considering cask strength - More peppercorn than cinnamon This is a good pour but nothing bold or distinct about it. I wish I had a bottle of regular makers to compare it against 3.9

Nose: oak, vanilla, baking spices, hint of cherry Palate: very smooth at the proof point. Vanilla, oak, and caramel that are blended really well together Finish: quick blast of heat that mellows into a smooth vanilla, brown sugar sweetness My favorite bourbon at this price point and a perfect go to daily sipper
Blind taste N: nice mix of oak, baking spices, vanilla, cinnamon P: starts with vanilla, baking spices, some caramel, moderate heat F: blast of heat that ends with a long vanilla sweetness
One of the better makers produvct but im just not a fan. I always get an eraser nose and taste, old school teachers markers, with some cherry and alcohol.
A little better than the original. Real nice whiskey. Best of both worlds, a luttle stong and a little sweet
Fine
