Makers Mark Private Selection (OHLQ) "Pecan Pie" stave profile

Oak, vanilla, dark roast nuts/pecan, cinnamon, spices, sweet nouget v. caramel. This is the OHLQ All Star Collection. I enjoy this more than 'grandma's kitchen' bc it's more balanced w the oak and roasted nuts. Grandma's kitchen is enjoyable but a spice bomb compared to this. I have tried the 'Queen City' and that may have a slight edge...only time will tell

Nose: vanilla, caramel, roasted nuts, oak, ethanol, barrel char, graham crackers, smoked pecan wood Palate: creamy, vanilla, nougat, some pecan Finish: medium to short, cinnamon, oak, slightly drying This was my second pour from the bottle and I liked it better than the neck pour

Doesn’t taste like pecans or pie. Would not waste my money on this or any other makers mark flavors
