Actually had the 9 year at 49.5 abv. Wonderful nose of sweet oak. Pallet started sweet and quickly turned earthy with grass and dusty hay ending with long rye spiciness. After adding a bit of water spearmint and alum appeared as well.
Nose. Vanilla and slight corn Taste. Strong alcohol taste, would be good in a cocktail Finish. Strong lingering pepper
Nose of banana and spice, vanilla cinnamon and spice palate, smooth, and long spicy finish
Lighter rye taste... almost “scotchy”
