Unique twist on a wheated bourbon that honestly needs a little water to reveal all of its complexity. There's a lot of flavor to be had here, but these are not particularly my favorites or expectations in a wheated bourbon. That makes it both interesting and somewhat of a letdown at the same time. The finish is more rye with a pronounced burn. This might be one that Scotch lovers should try.

Woulde 2.3

Fairly closed on the nose, alcohol and burned caramel. Flavor is also rather one-dimensional and focused on barrel char. Water does not open the nose, but rather mutes it and produces some minerality. Flavor alters with water, becoming more complex. Some herbs and spices. This might be a whiskey that cries out for ice. Not bad, but very one-dimensional

Beautiful packaging, certified organic (if you care about such things), but the flavors are weak and overpowered by a massive alcohol nose and taste. Definitely does come across more rye-like than bourbon-like. I don't know what I'm missing about this. I'd rather drink any bog standard rye or bourbon over this. I have turned to using it as a mixer.

Nose: leather, grain Taste: Rye heavy, not sweet at all, leather, oak, slight cherry Aftertaste: cherry lingers nicely This would be great for a rye lover, or someone who doesn't like sweet bourbon.

Nose: prickly pear, light grains. Taste is light but refreshing for a young bourbon. Some sugar or cookie and spice throughout. Light linger. Really good, one of the best young bourbons ive had

I received a bottle of each of their products to review and I loved them all. The information they sent says the mash bill of the Bourbon is 51% Corn 40% Wheat and 9% Rye.
