Mayor Pingree 12 Year Bourbon Single Barrel Cask Strength

Actually a 13 year single barrel because the 12 years no longer listed. Tasted neat in a Glencairn. Giant profile! Hot? 127.8 proof. Lot of wood, not particularly approachable. A good whiskey, solid and tasty but more in line with a Stagg Jr profile.

Lots of tobacco, coffee, more alcohol burn than I’d expect. Nothing offensive to me, but not my favorite flavors
