Mb Rolland malted bourbon

Nice overture of aromas, not hot, good neat, spice at the end - I am liking it. Opens slowly and finishes mellow and full - best thing, none of that orange flavor. Sugars are akin to something - want to say toasted marshmallow - but it is not that. I am not rating high given price.. if in $30 range would rate it a lot higher Batch#9, 63% malted barley, 21% white corn and 15% Rye, 108.4 proof

A lot smoother than the 54.2% makes you think. Toasted nutty candy bar with chocolate and caramel. Lingering sweetness and a slight rye spice at the end but not anything like pepper. More just a kick on back of the tongue after the toffee and chocolate.

Really fun to try. Heavy barley w/corn and rye. Dark appearance and a strong long finish.

Smooth, great malted flavor give balance and a nice finish. I’m liking the malt....
