Dark amber color with copper tones. Lots of legs up here fairly quickly, but there's a sticky ring that persists and slowly drips down. The nose is a big hit of dark caramel, creamed corn, brown butter. Under that is a bit of nuttiness and ripe fruit, and a waft of milled grains and smoke. Its sweet up front and throughout, but is well balanced by a pleasant spicy warmth mid palate and just a hint of bitterness on the back end. Soft but a bit thin on the palate. Leaves me thinking of a dark chocolate covered almond rolled in cacao powder and drizzled with molasses. Its got plenty to be interested in but lacks a bit in nuance and harmony. I'm a fan and am excited to try it in a Manhattan! Update: Wonderful Manhattan, solid old fashioned but i got a little overzealous on the overall rating.

Varies from batch to batch, but the 100% corn, exquisitely aromatic, mash bill delivers a sweetness that can't be missed. Heavy oakey char on the palate. Appropriately and pleasantly warm the whole drink through. It's a pricier bottle for me; however the support of the local guy and the passion put into each bottle is worth it.
Really surprised how much I enjoy this. Didn't expect much from a local PA bourbon. It's all corn, all day, and definitely has a little kick of smoke too. Got it as a gift, but I would definitely pay retail for this. Good bourbon made right down the road. I'm a sucker for Pittsburgh made 🤷🏼♂️
Smells like a workshop in all the best ways. Hand cut wood, sweet corn, hints of a campfire. Tastes like mesquite BBQ sauce, oaky goodness, and creamed corn. A lovely bourbon from a little Pittsburgh distillery. Got to meet the owner and take a tour it was a blast!
This is a solid pour, especially for the $69 price point. Awesome to see a local (Pittsburgh) distillery crank out some good juice! Nose: Caramel, Vanilla bean, soft corn Palate: Caramel corn, light toasted oak Finish: Medium sweet oak
So unique with the 100% corn. Sweet. I think the baby barrel is a bit better but I just probably prefer the extra oakyness. Worth the price just like I think the baby barrel at 100 is.
