Pleasant floral nose. Light grassy malt flavors. Subtle sweet fruits, and vanilla as usual. However the finish is rather nasty. Not really spicy or earthy...just rotten burn. Doesn't shine like a 10 year old ought to. I would avoid this one.
About this bottle
Double distilled and lightly peated, this single malt is aged in bourbon barrels. This brand was distilled at Cooley Distillery, but as Beam recently purchased that distillery, the whiskey is currently fighting for the right to still be made there. A lawsuit is pending, so if you like this whiskey, buy as much as you can while you can.

Rich fruit notes with spices and a very subtle peat taming the sweetness. Transcendent when paired with orange dark chocolate. Also difficult as hell to find anywhere, which is probably why it's on the pricey side.
Very easy to drink. Latent creaminess. Low burn. Some vanilla on the nose.
Nice whiskey for an Irish. Little pricey though.
had the blended version, tastes sweet like rum
